Boxplore was created to help children unlock their inner creativity. With the help of creative kits and an optional companion app, childeren can create theme based inventions using art supplies and all sorts of recyclable materials around the house.
Instead of supplying the children with the entire instructions to build a project, Boxplore only teaches pieces or skills of how to make individual parts and the children can fill in the gaps. On completions of projects, children can upload and share their creations to the optional companion app where they can unlock thematic bonus content.
For this project I was responsible to creating the instructional media, examples of bonus content, creation of video media and coming up with the trypes of product packageing.
The project was created with two other group members, Abbie O' Shea and Ben Clooney. And was developed over multiple modules during our study in Cork Institute of Technology. It is still currently in development and we're currently exploring the possibility of further development into a business after college.
